"Q: Is it legal to assemble a firearm from commercially available parts kits that can be purchased via internet or shotgun news?

For your information, per provisions of the Gun Control Act (GCA) of 1968, 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44, an unlicensed individual may make a “firearm” as defined in the GCA for his own personal use, but not for sale or distribution."

The Weapon you make must be a legal weapon on the Federal, State, and Local Level. You may NOT participate if you are a felon, non-US citizen or otherwise legally disqualified from gun ownership.

Remember that the constitution was meant to control the amount of power the government has. Second Amendment.

Ares Armor's Take on the two point sling

"An amentum was a leather strap attached to a javelin used in ancient Greek athletics, hunting, and warfare, which helped to increase the range and the stability of the javelin in flight."

We chose this as the name for our new sling as it fully describes what we have currently developed. With the Huskey Amentum Slider Sling you will be able to increase the range, accuracy and overall efficiency of your weapon.

Two point slings offer many advantages over both one and three points. They are the middle ground between weapon manipulation, control, support to shooting accuracy and efficiency.

Our Huskey Two Point Sling increases the users ability to easily and rapidly deploy his weapon from a non-aggressive to aggressive stance. This two point sling method with the Amentum slider allows for economy of motion and simplistic, fast transitions to a secondary weapon or the off hand position.

We at Ares Armor are proud to announce that we are launching a full line in Digital Concealment System's new A-tacs camouflage. This partnership will allow us to provide the most up to date equipment for the Modern Warfighter. We would like you to take a look at some of our newest products now being produced in A-Tacs.

If you look closely at the above picture you will notice our Huskey Amentum Slider Sling in Atacs. This is our flagship product and we are proud to have it available in A-tacs. This sling was co-designed by 2009 International Sniper Competition Winner Josh Huskey. It allows an extremely fast transition to the off shoulder or a secondary weapon as well as gives extraordinary support to your shooting position. It has been adopted and is now an issued item for several military units including a company from Marine Special Operations Battalion. Don't just take our word for it. Check out the Huskey Sling's Product page and watch the Transition Video (the second one) that demos some of the abilities that this sling has to offer.

The Ares Armor Combat XII Pack (shown above in A-tacs) has one of the most unique wear systems currently available on the market. It acts as a light patrol or sustainment pack, however it has a direct to armor attachment system that removes the need to have excess bulk restricting your movement. It also easily converts to conventional straps should the need arise to carry heavier loads. Click the image for more information and a video showing the connection system.
